Your photos are yours. Full stop.

SwipePicAway was built around a simple rule: everything happens on your device. The app collects no data, sends no data, and has no way of seeing your photos. This page explains what that means in practice.

What we collect

Nothing. SwipePicAway has no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. The app makes no network requests, so there is no server for your data to end up on. We can't see your photos, your decisions, or even that you use the app.

Your photo library

The app asks for access to your photo library because sorting it is the whole point. That access is used exclusively on your device:

• Photos and videos are read from your library to show them to you, and deleted or edited only when you explicitly choose to.
• Your keep-and-delete decisions are stored in a private database on your device, and nowhere else.
• Duplicate detection analyzes your photos entirely on-device, using Apple's built-in image processing. No image ever leaves your phone for this — or for anything else.

You can review or revoke photo access at any time in the iOS Settings app. If you prefer, you can grant access to only a selection of photos rather than the whole library.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your device. It never leaves your phone and no notification service is involved. Turning the reminder off removes it.

Widgets

The home screen widgets display thumbnails that the app prepares and stores in a private container on your device, shared only between the app and its widgets. They are excluded from backups and cleaned up automatically.

Data retention and deletion

Everything the app stores lives on your device and is deleted along with the app if you uninstall it. There is nothing to delete on our end, because nothing was ever sent to us.

Children

SwipePicAway does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If the app's behavior ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, this policy will be updated before that change ships, and the date at the top will reflect it.
